rue mcclanahan, you will be sorely missed.
news stations are reporting that the infamous golden girl suffered a stroke this morning, passing away at the age of 76. rue will forever be remembered for her middle-aged sexpot character blanche devereaux, who was subjected to unending slut and flat-chested jokes on the show. rue’s death today follows bea arthur’s 2009 death as well as estelle getty’s back in 2008, leaving betty white the last girl standing.
so a tribute to rue—who was also a breast cancer survivor—is in order: this video proves that your breasts can never be too small, ladies, but there is such a thing as too many cats.
we will always love you, rue. rest in peace.
